These Shock Guards will protect your shocks from hard impacts and debris. These parts can withstand hard impacts and are easy to clean after every muddy bash session! Essential upgrade to keep your truck cleaner!
They directly replace the lower spring retainer so you will not need to modify the truck at all. They will also not interfere with the suspension movement of the trucks either!
Installation
To help the installation go smoother, it is best to remove the lower shock mount screw and rotate the shock upwards to give you better access. Then, you will want to remove the stock lower spring retainer and set it aside. Next, while compressing the spring upwards slide the Shock Guard onto the rod end. (NOTE: There are Left and Right side Shock Guards.
Make sure the spring is seated flat and that the shock moves freely.
That’s it! Reinstall the lower shock mount and repeat for the other three shocks.
