This design utilizes nuts for mounting instead of bolting into the plastic.

You will need to drill the 2 access holes at the bottom of the battery tray to 3/8” to give the correct clearance for the driver’s side guard mounting points.
Tip for the older versions of trucks that have the separate front chassis mud guards.
You can choose to remove them now; these new Side Guards cover more area and protect the truck in one easy to install piece.
